Been a long time since I have visited this group. With it being the holidays and all, just want to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Continue to enjoy the pictures and stories of these two characters!
I hope that people wouldn't mistake AH'T Spyro with the classic/old Spyro. And for Heaven's sake, DON'T MISTAKE THEM.
Ember appeared in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. Spyro there is something and Spyro in the trilogy (Spyro the dragon series) is another. Also Elora doesn't appear in AH'T so that means AH'T Spyro wouldn't even know her. So its fine. Unlike Spyro The Dragon trilogy, where Elora do appear.
Maybe in both games Spyro looks the same, but the storyline and world is different.
Just don't throw TLOS Spyro with Ember because it won't make sense. How could he love her if she hadn't been MENTIONED let alone appeared?

AHT Spyro and Classic Spyro have the same page on Spyro Wiki...
Also in AHT, Spyro mentions that he defeated Gnasty Gnorc years ago, an obvious reference to Spyro the Dragon. Hunter and Bentley also appear as old friends. AHT and Classic have many more character connections than TLoS and Skylanders have with either of them or each other.
Then again, it also makes sense to see them as different characters. Especially in my headcanon universe because my headcanon Spyro would be way too young to be Classic Spyro.
This also explains Hunter's huge design change.

Still not sure where Classic Spyro would fit in my timeline, he's probably either Skylanders Spyro or a descendant of AHT Spyro 250-300 years in the future.

Eh, then you had it the same way as I. Back before when I was a Spyro lunatic, I always had the though that Old Spyro and Ember married, had a kid - TLOSpyro - some ___holes stole the egg, TLOSpyro was born (story continues the same was as the TLoS story goes), New Spyro (and Cynder) meets Old Spyro and Ember, they defeat Malefor but Ghaul somehow survives and kidnap New Spyro and Cynder, they then become evil for a short time and "transforms" into Skylander Spyro and Cynder, Old Spyro and Ember saves them, New Spyro & Cynder returns to their normal forms, with their dark forms (Skyland Spyro & Cynder) "re-create" themselves as good little dragons.
TLOSpyro loves TLOCynder, SkySpyro goes with SkyCynder, with Classic Spyro goes with Ember. Problem solved. I actually had this though for a good while, but its been forever and I forgot about this entire plot.
